Be Blessed Today!

Jeremiah 17:5-10 New Living Translation (NLT) Wisdom from the  Lord 5  This is what the  Lord  says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans,      who rely on human strength      and turn their hearts away from the  Lord . 6  They are like stunted shrubs in the desert,      with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness,      in an uninhabited salty land. 7  “But blessed are those who trust in the  Lord      and have made the  Lord  their hope and confidence. 8  They are like trees planted along a riverbank,      with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat      or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green,      and they never stop producing fruit. 9  “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things,      and desperately wicked.      Who really knows how bad it is? 10  But I, the  Lord , search all hearts      and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards,

Still Thankful!

I was in trouble, so I called to the  Lord  for help. The  Lord  answered and made me free. The  Lord  is with me, so I will not be afraid. No one on earth can do anything to harm me. Psalm 118:5-6   ERV In   every   thing   give   thanks : for this is the will of God  in  Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Does the cold weather have you in a slump? Are January bills starting to pile up? Have the holidays left you feeling exhausted?   Here's the answer: Matthew 11:28 KJV - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. NLT - Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Jeremiah 6:16 KJV -    Thus saith the Lord , Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. NLT - This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around.     Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it.  Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.
