No Matter What!
David loved God! Have you ever been hurt by something and through your hurt still managed to maintain a relationship with your loved one and cater to their heart. David's problems teach us that NO MATTER WHAT, go back TO GOD! Give God glory even in the BAD situation, even in the WORST situation, even in the face of your enemies - GIVE GOD THE GLORY!
A few weeks ago we read the 3rd Psalm (Sat, 7/8). It was David's cry to God while he was on the run from his son Absalom. What I find amazing about David is that in this time of distress he took care of God's business to the point where he wrote the 4th and 5th Psalms and picked the instruments that they were to be played to.The 4th Psalm for a stringed instrument starts as a prayer and then words to his enemies to compel them to serve God and show them the error of their ways and he finishes with a praise. The 5th Psalm (for a flute) reads in the same manner.
Read the 4th and 5th Psalm. Share it with someone. Pray about it for yourself. Encourage someone today.
