The power of 'decision-making' is in your hands!


God gives us the ability to make a choice.  This month while reading the book of Proverbs, it could be seen that chapters are dedicated to explaining the outcomes of a persons decisions.  Yes, things will happen, problems will occur, troubles will get in the way, but we have a CHOICE.

We choose:
To have faith -believing God for all things
To trust God - trusting that God will carry you through the situation
To be happy - instead of feeling down
To stand - in the midst of the storm
To have hope - knowing God

Always remember, you have a choice!

Psalm 119:28 28  My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. There will be days when we feel beat up.  There are days when the weight of the world is on our shoulders. It is in those hard times that we must tell God our truth.  We must confess how we really feel. Lord, I'm hurt.  Lord, I'm tired.  Lord, I don't think I can handle this anymore. When we pour out our heart to God, we are giving Him access to comfort and strengthen us.  His Word says, that He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us.  His Word says, He uplifts us with His right hand.  His Word says, I have loved you with an everlasting love.  His Word says, cast all of your cares on Me. I pray that as you go through this weekend that the Word of God strengthens you for whatever and everything that you are facing.

Be Free From Denial!

Have you ever experienced that feeling when you finally get something off of your chest?  You feel free, it's as a though a weight has been lifted up and off of you.  The same feeling can be experienced when we admit how we really feel.  Maybe you've been sad, angry, frustrated, depressed or otherwise. God wants us to come to Him, tell Him how we feel and give these feelings to Him.  The Bible instructs us to cast our cares onto Him.  We are supposed to throw these issues off of ourselves and allow God to care for us. Don't live in denial.  Stop walking around pretending that everything is all right!  Shake yourself free from pain and anguish!  Live and Be Free from DENIAL! via  Daily Prompt: Denial

Whether you are at work, at home, at school, church, a relatives house, or wherever, we must remember to pray.  Depression creeps in when we lose our line of communication with God.  It is vital to keep that relationship in its proper place, 1st and foremost.  It is very important that we talk with God and listen to Him too.  God bless you.
