DECIDE!

Make a decision today to life the new life that God has given you in Christ!  Stop living a life a sin.  Live in the freedom and power that Christ gives us.

For 13 Minutes today, pray about this decision.  Ask God to show you what you need to give up to walk in the newness that He’s given us.  Ask God to help you to surrender what you have held on to and for the strength to walk in your decision.  Enjoy your new life without sin.  It is possible through Christ!

Here are 4 different versions of this eye-opening, in-your-face scripture, Romans 6:13:

¹³ Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. KJV
¹³ Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities—sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God.
¹³  Give yourselves to God, as people who have been raised from death to life. CEV
^12-14 That means you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don’t give it the time of day. Don’t even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time—remember, you’ve been raised from the dead!—into God’s way of doing things. Sin can’t tell you how to live. After all, you’re not living under that old tyranny any longer. You’re living in the freedom of God. MSG
